Obituary of Mary Caraglia

Mary Caraglia passed away peacefully on Saturday March 19, 2022. She was 97 years young and resided in Rockaway, NJ the latter part of her life. Mary spent her very early years trying to help her family working as a seamstress and then other jobs such as Bamberger’s (Macy’s) in the 60s and as a Senior Billing Clerk for Monroe, The Calculator Company in the 70’s.  In her later years after retirement, and as a widow, she spent time with her best friend Louise playing Bingo & going on casino trips with the Rockaway Township Seniors South.  Above all, she was always a hardworking & caring homemaker and mother.

Mary was the devoted mother to son Patrick R. Caraglia (Patty) of Blythewood, SC, Daughter Jo Ann Bieksha (Mike) of Rockaway, NJ; grandchildren Jennifer Dismukes (Chris) of Hermitage, TN, Joe Caraglia (Marge) of Sparta, NJ, Mike Bieksha (Adria) of Rockaway, NJ, Kristy Frink (Justin) of Butler, NJ; greatgrandchildren Gabriella and Olivia Caraglia; Brother Joseph Racioppi (Charlotte) of Savannah, GA, Sister-in-Law Yolanda Fallivene, Rockaway, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and her granddogs Rex and Elliott.

Predeceased by Late husband Vincent F. Caraglia, her brother Patsy Racioppi, Parents Frank & Virginia Racioppi and stepmother Katherine Racioppi.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, March 25, 2022, at St Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rockaway, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
