Obituary of Susan L. Windt

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Susan Windt (nee Janice) of Randolph, on May 29, 2022, at the age of 73 years.

Sue will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Meghan Murphy (Hugh), and Mollye Morgan (Chris), her grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Brody and Vivian, and her mother, Marilyn Janice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack.

Sue was born in Newark NJ in 1949 and later attended Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. She loved books, reality shows and was simply the best hostess and cook who took great joy in having swarms of people celebrate all occasions in the home she loved so much.

Sue resided in Randolph for almost 50 years. She had the “best seat in the house” for the Freedom Festival parade and fireworks, relished her days as PTA President at Fernbrook School and got a big kick out of supporting her grandchildren at games, meets, recitals and graduations throughout town. Most of all, Sue was proud of the lifelong friendships that were fostered in Randolph, for both herself and her daughters.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 2:00-4:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, June 6, 2022, 10:00AM at Resurrection Parish.
