Obituary of Eleanor Mary Cirz

We are sad to announce the passing of our dear Mother Eleanor Mary Zemkowski Cirz on August 8, 2022, age 94, of Toms River, NJ, and formerly of Melbourne Beach, FL.
Eleanor was born September 22, 1927 in Kearny, NJ to Frank and Lottie Zemkowski. Predeceased by her brother Frank Zemkowski, grandson Justin Hughes and her husband Theodore Frank Cirz, with whom she created a big, beautiful family who she loved and lived for. 

Survived by her three amazing children, Diane (Gary) Hughes, Raymond (Claire) Cirz, Theodore (Kathy) Cirz. Her seven incredible grandchildren, Kristin (Andrew) Brucker, Ryan (Tanaya) Cirz, Amanda (Zach) Hamadyk, Lauren and Justin Hughes, Michael and Kara Cirz. Her eight beautiful great grandchildren, Pierce, Colin and Ashley Brucker, Evan, Brandon and Justin Cirz, Eleanor (Libby) Hughes and Rory Hamadyk. Who affectionately called her Great. Eleanor’s favorite joys included polka dancing to Jimmy Sturr, dinners with family, The New York Giants (and really any professional football game) and playing the slots in Atlantic City. She will be dearly missed. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10 from 3-6 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Rt 10 West, Randolph, NJ. 
A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, August 11th, 10 am at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, 651 Millbrook Ave, Randolph NJ. Interment at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover will follow.
