Dear VA, David, Sylvia and family:
Jimmy and I would like to express our sincere sympathy. I have known Harold most of my life, through many seasons, good and not so good. As a teenager and as a young adult, Melvin Place was my home away from home, a non judgemental place. Sunday night the " Fireside" gang watched Monty Python there and later on Thursday night was Kung Fu night. The Schroeder's house was always welcoming. To know Harold, who by the way was always filling his pipe, was to know he was a telephone man, who worked for THEE telephone company in NYC. As the photos show, Harold was fun. So tonight, Jimmy and I will have a toast to you Harold,( no not a Manhattan, last time we had one of those was with Sylvia and you and we barely made it home). A toast to so many great memories. And I will pray for the repose of your soul. Lovingly,
Judy Arzinger McGovern

Harold was a father who drove us all over the country, amazingly there was always fishing involved, on our summer vacations, taught us how to change a tire (not on those vacations), made us a table for our electric trains, and many many other terrific experiences growing up.
We were happy that he met and fell in love with Sylvia, a very special person, as is her whole family.
Harold was lucky in love and marriage, being that Kathryn and Sylvia both, such beautiful women intellectually, spiritually and physically. As a daughter, no worries about Harold, he lived an interesting, satisfying life, mainly due to those 2 women. Thanks to you Harold, I gained some very special relatives. You'll always remain in my heart, Dad. Love, VA

Uncle Harold was so much fun and laughed easily. My family always looked forward to seeing him, Aunt Kathryn and our cousins. We were delighted that he found happiness with Sylvia following the sad loss of Aunt Kathryn. Sylvia and Harold’s wedding is wonderful, happy memory. We are sending deep sympathy to Sylvia, VA, David, Julie, Ted, Kathryn and all of Harold’s family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
With Love,
Melissa Kroboth Bartlett

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of training Harold at The Wellness Center. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life. I know he is is in heaven, not resting, but walking and searching for dropped coins

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
