I first met Betty Miller as a student in her Sunday school class at Mt. Fern. She was a great story teller. She would use story boards with felt characters to illustrate the Bible stories and she always made us the most delicious sugar cookies. When I got a bit older, Betty invited me to help co-teach her vacation Bible school class with her. I really enjoyed getting together with her at her house to prep for the lessons we would teach. I will always cherish my memories of Betty. She was a very special woman and her kindness will never be forgotten.

Betty was a long-time member of Mt. Fern UMC Randolph NJ. She taught Sunday School for many years. She was always a lady very quiet but always volunteering and helping fellow church members. I got to know Betty when she came in the church office and would copy her papers for Sunday School, and I was always rewarded with her delicious homemade cookies. My deepest condolences to her family. I will always remember Betty. Jane Boschen
