Obituary of Irma Grossi
Irma Grossi, 94, of the Mount Arlington section of Roxbury Township, passed away on March 9, 2023 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jimenez surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughters Joanne Salzano and Carmella Donofrio Jimenez as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Born in Italy, in the town called Montefredene, where she grew up on a farm with her 9 siblings. Irma married an American solider, Alexander Donofrio, and immigrated from Italy to America at the age of 18 year old where sent went on to have three children.
Irma was of the Catholic faith and a very active member with the local church community. She loved attending mass, gardening, cooking, baking, dancing and love spending time with her grandchildren.
At the age of 20 years old, she started her career working for a company making clothing and later finished her career working for The Varityper Corporation until the age of 60, when she retired to assist her daughter and taking care of her two grandchildren.

After leaving the viewing, there will be a mass held at St. Therese Church, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876 starting at 12:30pm.
Irma will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
