Mildred Claire Finn,, of Mine Hill NJ, passed away at her residence on May 8, 2023. Mildred was born on December 31, 1941, in Jersey City, NJ. She was the daughter of John and Ann Toohey. Claire was raised in Cliffside Park NJ.
Her siblings preceded her, Bob, Peggy, Barbara, Kay and Billy.
Married to husband, Donald for 53 years. She lived in Mine Hill for 50 years and was a teacher’s aid at the Canfield Ave School.
Claire leaves two sons; Jeffrey and Jonathan, daughter-in-law; Heather, two grandchildren; Brendan and Meghan. They were her world.
She was a warm person, who loved to cook. Claire leaves many friends and relatives; she will be sadly missed.
A visitation will be held Wednesday May 10, 2023 from 4-8PM at Tuttle Funeral Home. The Mass will be on Thursday May 11, 2023 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church in Wharton NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association
