Barbara Ann Monaghan, 76, of Dover, New Jersey passed away on May 29th, 2023 at home.  Barbara was born in Queens, New York and moved to Dover with her husband William.  

She loved to travel, was an avid reader, and was passionate about keeping up with current events.  She enjoyed the theater and movies with her friends.  Barbara loved animals and supported animal rescue groups.  She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dover.  

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William Monaghan, parents Gertrude and Richard Burgmeier.  She is survived by her brother Donald Burgmeier, niece Sara Montoya (Justin), Greyson and Stella Montoya of Albuquerque, N.M., the Hart family; also survived by her close friends Debra Burgmeier, Susan Beller, and Venyta Cohen.

Services pending.  Donations may be made in her name to Everytown for Gun Safety.
