Obituary of Daniel DeJesus
Daniel DeJesus Sr., 90, of Randolph, peacefully passed away at his home on Monday, July 17, 2023. Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Julian and Mercedes DeJesus.
Daniel lived a life devoted to his faith as a devout Catholic, finding strength and solace in his relationship with God. He exemplified his dedication to service as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, where he found a sense of community and purpose.
Daniel was not only a loving husband but also a devoted father and grandfather, cherishing his family above all else. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love for his wife, Ana, who stood by his side throughout their journey together.
He will be remembered with warmth and admiration by his three children: Daniel Jr., who resides in Randolph; David and his wife Michelle of Boonton; and Richard, also of Randolph. Daniel’s love extended to his two beloved grandchildren, Krystina and Kristopher, who were a source of joy and pride in his life.
In addition to his unwavering devotion to family and faith, Daniel had a lifelong passion for sports. A loyal Yankees and Giants fan, he found camaraderie and excitement in cheering on his favorite teams.
Daniel DeJesus Sr. touched the lives of many with his kindness, faith, and genuine love for those around him. He will forever be missed but will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30PM at St. Mary’s Church, 371 South Main Street, Wharton NJ 07885. Interment is private.
