Obituary of Mary Lou Dremousis

Mary Lou Dremousis (82) passed away on October 27, 2023, with her loving daughters by her side. 

Born in Morristown, NJ on June 14, 1941 to the late Mary Ofsonka and Herbert Burns. She married, Andreas (Andy) Dremousis in November of 1964 and together they raised two daughters, Christina Dremousis and Andrea Berlinicke in Dover, NJ. 

Mary Lou was strong willed and stubborn at times, but she had an enormous heart, generous spirit and kind nature that touched everyone she met.  Her sense of humor and infectious laugh would always bring a smile to your face. She was a loyal and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mary Lou was a proud Yia Yia to Ashley and Nicole.  Her grandchildren were her love and joy.  She treasured time with them. 

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Andy and sister Judy Benson.  She is survived by sisters, Ann Marie Hanrahan, Eileen Podgurski, Margaret Heater, Debbie Hochstein, and a brother Albert Colecom. Mary Lou leaves behind two daughters, Christina Dremousis and Andrea Berlinicke; her son-in-laws, Jay Sciortino and Phil Berlinicke; her granddaughters, Ashley, and Nicole Berlinicke; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph, NJ.  Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2023, 11am at Locust Hill Mausoleum, 168 N Sussex St, Dover NJ
