Obituary of Michael R Cisar, Jr.

Michael R. Cisar, Jr., 79, passed away surrounded by family on December 1st at St. Clares, Denville, NJ.  Michael was born in Passaic, NJ.  He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Business in 1976.  He did this while attending night school and helping to raise his young family with his first wife, Lois, mother of his 3 daughters.  Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Michael worked for many years at Bendix/Allied/Honeywell in Aerospace as a Cost Estimator. He then switched gears and was Owner/Operator of The Brake Shop before finally working for NJDOT for over 20 years and retiring only last December. Michael loved to work hard and lived to help others.  He valued his family and all of their traditions.

Michael is survived by his daughters: Elise(Scott), Jeanine(Dave), and Nicole(Chris).  His stepdaughters: Diane(Simon) and Lauren(Mason).  His grandkids: Emma, Sofie, Lucas, Abby, Isabel, Marty and Ryan.  His three brothers: Joseph(Michelle), Edward, John(Terri); as well as his step grandkids:  Hayden, Tiernan, Ford, Brody and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews and companion Selvia. Michael was predeceased by his father, Michael, Sr, mother, Pauline, brother, Raymond and loving wife, Lynne.

A Funeral Mass to honor his life will be held at Resurrection Parish, 651 Millbrook Ave., Randolph, NJ at 1:00 pm. on Saturday December 16, 2023
