I have known Al for probably 30 years through serving with him on the planning board and other organizations in town. He was a kind, gentle, hard working man dedicated to his family, friends, neighbors and residents of Randolph. Al always had a big smile where ever he went. Although he is physically gone, memories of him will live on with family, friends and all others who had the pleasure of knowing him

When I think of my sweet cousin Allen, the first thing that comes to mind is his wonderful, warm smile. Allen was such a big part of my life growing up. I have so many wonderful stories from our times shared together as children and as we grew into adults.
Some things that immediately come to mind are how Allen loved the group The Platters. He would play their albums constantly. And we always loved our times together at NJ’s Wildwood Crest with family and friends.
Aunt Angie and Uncle Mickey chose us to be our cousin Michael’s God parents. It was such an honor to share that experience with Allen. I’ve attached that photo here to share it with you.
The memories are countless, and I will forever hold them close to my heart. I was so blessed to have Allen in my life. I will remember him fondly and with so much love.
When he sees the face of God and all those that have gone before him, they will embrace him and see his beautiful smile again.
All my love,
Cousin Patty

It is sad to hear of Al’s passing. Condolences to the family. I interacted with Al when he was helping run Randolph recreation soccer. I coached teams in the B league and Al was the league coordinator. Later, I worked with him in helping run the soccer programs. He was always calm and reasonable whenever issues came up with adults, as they usually do with kids sports teams. He would listen to all sides of a dispute and than make reasonable decisions. I much enjoyed working with him as he had the best interests of the kids in mind and no personal agenda. I sometimes thought he was “the only adult in the room.”
I was glad to see he later went on to give his time in service to the town as councilman and mayor. His calm demeanor and even disposition were a great asset to make good decisions and bring people together. The world has lost a good man.

We would like to convey our condolences to the Napoliello family. We met Al while our late son Alex, was battling cancer. Al was on the Randolph council at the time and went out of his way to help our family. Mayor Napoliello was a compassionate public servant with a heart of gold. May he rest in peace. I spent 10 years on the town council with Al. He was a pleasure to know and work with. Very easy going and fun, always ready to laugh. We had a great run together. You will be missed Al. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Al was a great volunteer, friend and committee member for many years. He chaired the recreation committee and was on the soccer committee. Eventually joining the town council and always supportive of parks and recreation. He will be missed by many. God bless

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
