Obituary of Josephine Gambarella

Josephine Gambarella, age 98, passed away on February 3, 2024, at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, New Jersey. She was born in Clifton, NJ where she resided for 30 years. Later, she moved to Totowa Boro and raised her family there. Josephine retired from Ungerer Co., where she was employed in the lab, compounding scents and fragrances. After retirement, she moved to Jefferson Chase Senior Apartments in Oak Ridge, NJ where she resided until her death.

She is predeceased by her Husband, Emil Gambarella, her daughter, RoseAnn Ciok, sons-in-law Ray Ciok and Lloyd Rock, and her beloved sister, Anna Rich. Josephine leaves behind her children, Pat Rock, Amy and her husband Quentin Hawkins, Terry and her husband Kevin McConnell, and Emil and his wife Vickie Gambarella. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren too numerous to name, by her nieces and nephews, and her very special sister-in-law, Marien Dolcemascola.

Visitation Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at St. Therese in Succasunna, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org).
