I met Barbara my job at Salon de David in 1974. We stayed friends for 35 years and she was my daughter’s godmother. She suddenly stopped friendship with my daughter and me in 2008/2008. We tried to call, our numbers were blocked. Tried to email, it was not an accepted email. First was anger then sadness for the loss of friendship. Now we just don’t care.

Barb was a pleasure to know and work with. She came to the Sparta store from another store and we fast became friends. She would give anyone the shirt off her back and was always offering to help with anything. Barb was like the mayor of Sparta. All the customers became her friends as well. They all greeted her like a long lost friend. She knew most people who came in the store by name. Barb transferred to the Parsippany store a few years ago and people still came into Sparta asking for her. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was always thinking of others before herself. I missed our conversations and would drop in every once in a while to see her in Parsippany. She will be missed. Rest in Peace. Nancy or as Barb would call me "Cruella"

I am in shock to hear that Barb has passed away. She has been a dear friend for over 50 years. I first met Barb when I went to David's in Morristown for a haircut and she has been cutting my hair ever since. In 2020, when my husband, Charlie, passed away I needed help and Barb offered to weekly grocery shop for me. She not only shopped but every week she cooked many delicious meals for me and delivered them every Friday morning. She is an extraordinary individual with a caring and generous heart. I will always hold Barb close at heart and will never forget our wonderful friendship. My daughter, Kelly, who lives in Florida has been tremendously grateful to Barb for all of the help she has offered to our family. Together we will plant a tree in her memory. We know that Barb is in Heaven, and I pray someday we will meet again. Rest in peace my dear friend. God bless Barbara, Pat and Kelly Molinary
