I always enjoyed spending time with Maddie when I would have playdates and sleepovers with Roxie in our childhood. Maddie would be excited to watch "Meet Me in St. Louis" with us and share in our laughter at the silly things we would play and create, which would often drive Uncle Doug crazy. Roxie and Maddie have a special sister-bond that includes a love of Broadway and old movies and I would look forward to Maddie's choices for us for each of my visits. I remember times when Maddie would come with Aunt Marcia to pick us up from dance class and laugh at everything we talked about on the car ride home. Her joy in being with us was always felt deeply and I loved being with Maddie, too. Celebrating Maddie's Sweet 16 was a special time and I remember how beautiful and bright her smile was that day. This is how I will remember Maddie and I will forever think of her when I watch "Meet Me in St. Louis" and keep my memories of her close to my heart always. I loved getting to spend time with Maddie after school. We enjoyed playing computer games, painting nails, coloring, and watching TV together. We had a mutual love for musicals and for Barney. I’ll always remember Maddie’s beautiful, beaming smile. She was so observant, too! Any time I wore jewelry, styled my hair, or had my nails done, she always noticed. Maddie made me feel so loved, and I hope she knew how much I loved her, too. She will forever have a special place in my heart. ❤️
