Concetta Bentrovato Sossong

Rockaway - Concetta (Bentrovato) Sossong, popularly known as "Connie," has passed away at age 91 at Brightview Randolph Assisted Living after a short illness.

Concetta was born March 30, 1933, in Dover, NJ.

Concetta attended Dover High School, class of 1951, and Berkeley Secretarial School.

She worked for many years as an executive secretary at Crum and Forster at both the Morristown and Parsippany locations. Concetta was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1984, her parents Domenica Bentrovato in 2020 and Antonio Bentrovato in 1966, brother Anthony Bentrovato in 2022 and son-in-law Michael Neff in 2011, and nephew Eric Bentrovato in 2019.

Surviving are her four children Deborah Neff, Henry Sossong (Cathy), Duane Sossong (GailMari), Kevin Sossong (Susan) and brother Joseph Bentrovato (Carolina).

Concetta is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Concetta was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Dover, and later Resurrection Parish, Randolph.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00AM on Friday, May 31st, 2024, at Ressurrection Parish, Randolph. Arrangements are through Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com).
