Adell was such a kind man. I will always be grateful to him and Sally for allowing Cynthia to travel with us on all the vacations we took. I know it’s not easy as parent to let your child go without you but I’m glad they trusted us. I will miss him visiting to celebrate Mike’s birthday with him. My heart hurts for Sally and his children and I pray their pain from his loss doesn’t last long and it is replaced with joy of all the wonderful memories they shared. Robin Menefee

Dear Sally and family Please accept our heartfelt condolences, you were truly great neighbors here in West Orange, Adell mentored my Son for the police academy, and I will always be thankful to him for taking him and showing him what was needed for his success. Sally you know I will always be here for you guys, give my babygirl Cynthia a big hug from me. My heart hurt for you all. You are all in my daily prayers. AD was my big brother. I'm 7 years apart from my brother. I remember growing up on Smith St with my siblings. We had good and bad times. Ad u were a hoot bro. I can hear u calling me mooch stop doing that. But I was hard headed, but u stayed on me back then. I'm really going threw it. I never thought I'd loose one of the seven child Adell Sr birthed. Lord Ad you will be missed. I love you Tamiko Bergen.
