Lonnie was thoughtful and kind to my brother, Bruce Jordan. With Lonnie's help, Bruce was able to get an interview with Con-Edison. My brother got that job and had a great career there -- all thanks to Lonnie! Lonnie was truly a wonderful friend and neighbor. With admiration and love, Russ Jordan

My Lonnie brother taught me everything I know about life, family, self determination, patience and hard work. He was always there for me, for us, as the role model and giver of unconditional love for his family. We spent endless hours shoulder to shoulder working, fishing ,studying, laughing, fighting, crying and all of the life enriching things that brothers do. When life placed on my doorstep the struggles we all endure at one time or another, it was Lonnie who would say to me …Once …if not one thousand times..”Michael.. come on …shake it off…you know the deal…when the going gets tough ..the Lonergan’s get tougher….he was so right! But, Lonnie was more than my brother, he was my friend….my mentor ……………he was my dad….. When leaving the hospital last week I kissed him and told him that I loved him with all my heart and soul. He smiled and said …I love you too Mike. I will miss him so much.
