Mark L. Ferraro - July 17, 1957 - June 2, 2024
Mark L. Ferraro of Randolph died on June 2, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center after a brief illness, he was 66. Born in Morristown on July 17, 1957 to the late William Ferraro and Barbara Mastro, he was raised in Bernardsville and graduated from Bernardsville High School before attending Dean College in Franklin Massachusetts, graduating in 1977. He was employed as a state licensed Water Treatment Operator with the Southeast Morris Municipal Utility Authority where he was known for his love of the industry and respected for his extensive knowledge. In 2014 after nearly 30 years of service he retired and joined Agra Environmental Services where he worked as a consultant until 2023.
He was a long time member and Trustee of the North Jersey Water Conference serving as President from 2005 - 2006. Recognized for his commitment to education and dedication to the profession, he was the recipient of the Harold V Florence Jr. Meritorious Operator Award in 2009. Aside from his work life, he was a movie buff and loved cars and enjoyed attending car shows with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Cucci of Boonton, his son Mark C. Ferraro (Jarryn) of Kenvil, daughter Kendall K. Camacho (Bryan) of San Diego, grandchildren, Ethan & Mia Ferraro and Cruz Camacho, sisters Donna Medeiros (Jose), Judith Ferraro, Robin Mercurio (Ken), nephews, step mother Olga Ferraro, step-sister Karla David and step-daughters Jenna & Alana Collins.
