Obituary of Susan Jeanne Anderson
Susan Jeanne Anderson, 58 of Denville, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Susan was born in Hackensack, NJ, to William and Maryanne Edwards on May 19, 1966. She attended Dover Business College and County College of Morris, which helped lay the foundation for her successful career. Susan held several management and sales roles in local pharmacies before starting her own business, Queen Compression, where she was dedicated to helping others find comfort.
Susan is survived by her husband, Christopher Walthour; her daughters, Christina Edwards and Maureen Palella (Dylan); her grandchildren, Senna, Zoe, and Sophia; her mother-in-law, Elaine Walthour; her stepsons, Robert and Derek Walthour; her siblings, Mark Edwards (Nancy), Maryanne Grande (Thomas), Kathleen Edwards (Carmine), John Edwards (Picky), Heather Carney (Darren), and Melissa Kane (Thomas); her Godmother, Margaret Stone; and many nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Maryanne Edwards; her brothers, William Edwards III and James Edwards; her sister, Suzanne Edwards, and her aunt, Loretta Lynch.
Susan had a passion for spending time with her large family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her caring heart and entrepreneurial spirit.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena in Mountain Lakes, NJ on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National Lymphedema Network. This is an organization that works to educate and support patients with lymphedema. Her business, Queen Compression helped these patients find comfort.
