Obituary of Robin Lynne Sharp
Robin Lynne Sharp (nee Luckenbach) made her final transition on the morning of October 11, 2024 after a long, courageous, but difficult battle with brain cancer. Through her 3 year battle, Robin maintained her positive outlook and contagious sense of humor. She is an irreplaceable mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a force to be reckoned with and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Robin was a Paraprofessional for the Randolph School District for 25 years before her diagnosis. Her passion was to help and advocate for children and young adults living with autism, as well as other special needs. She became certified in ABA therapy to better understand and support her students. She was always eager to learn more, try more and do more for her students.
Outside of school, Robin enjoyed hiking, vacationing, and spending time with her dear friends and family. Let’s not forget her love of red wine. She was always up for a night around the fire pit, a day boating on the lake, or just hanging out with her grandchildren.
Robin is survived by her children, Dana Latella (Rob), Scott Montanio (Kelly), Becky Sharp (Schuylar), Stephen Sharp (Anya). Grandchildren, Hadley, Ryan, Holden, Cayden, Laila and Jamie. Siblings, Sharon Cooper (Maurie), Brian Luckenbach, Starr Beecher, Bobby Luckenbach (Katie). Parents, Bob Luckenbach (Nina) and Betty Ann Miller. Supportive ex-husbands, Micky Montanio and Steve Sharp. As well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1:00-3:30 with a service beginning at 3:30, at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
In lieu of flowers, Robin had requested donations in her memory to either The Glioblastoma Research Organization www.gbmresearch.org/donate or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org/donate
