Obituary of Angela Kefalas

It is with great sadness that the family of Angela Kefalas announce her passing on October 18, 2024, at the age of 87. Angela was born on December 13, 1936 in Livadi, Greece to the late Andrew and Ann (Nee Zaroukostas) Lekos.

Angela was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Flanders, NJ, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She enjoyed baking Greek pastries and sharing with family and friends.

She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cranston, RI and later St Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Randolph, NJ.

Her beloved husband of 55 years, John Kefalas, and her daughter, Anna Kefalas predeceased her.   

Survived by son Stefano Kef; daughter Tina Kefalas and son-in-law Garry Giacchi; grandchildren Nicholas Neary, Andrew Neary, and John Giacchi.

Funeral services are under the direction of Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ. Church service will be held at St Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph, NJ. on Monday October 28, 2024 at 11:00AM. Angela's final resting place will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation to be made to St Andrew Greek Orthodox Church 1447 Sussex Turnpike Randolph, NJ., 07869.
