Ioannis Gregorgios Karipidis “John”, 85, of Madison passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 7,1939 in Heimerino, Boiou Kozanis Greece, Ioannis was the son of the late Lazaros and Euharis Karipidis.

Ioannis was an incredibly hardworking individual who made countless sacrifices for his family. His love for his grandchildren knew no bounds, and he treasured every moment he spent with them.

Ioannis was a devoted husband to Kyriaki, devoted father to his children, Lazaros and Despina and daughter-in-law Marlena. A loving grandfather to his ten amazing grandchildren Magdalini, her husband Nicholas, Yianni, Kyriaki, Kyriako, Kyriaki, Vasili, Ourania, Yianni, and Panayioti. Survived by his brother Antonios, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ioannis was predeceased by 4 loving sisters and 2 loving brothers.

A visitation will be held at Ss. Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is to follow the service at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
