Obituary of Kirwin Whitman

Kirwin "Kirk" Arthur Whitman, 82, of Chester, passed away Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Kirk was born in Rego Park, NY and has been a longtime resident of Chester. He served as an Engineer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a Professional Engineer at Allied Corporation, Morristown. Kirk retired from engineering and became a Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, where he taught in the MBA program. He was also a member of American MENSA and MENSA Worldwide. Kirk is survived by his four children through marriage Gregg (Liz) Feinberg of Randolph, Stuart (Diane) Feinberg of Avon, CT, Brad (Monica) Feinberg and Jann (Stephen) Quinn both of Randolph; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister April (Don) Johnston of West Babylon, NY and two nephews Randall and Donald also of West Babylon, NY. Predeceased by his wife Barbara and sister Valerie. Graveside Services Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, 11:00AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
