Bennie Simmons, 83, of Milledgeville, GA, died January 1, 2010 at Regency Grande Nursing Home, Dover, after a long illness. Born in Milledgeville, GA, he lived in Dover prior to moving back to Milledgeville, GA 25 years ago. He was a foreman for Gray Supply Cooperation in Randolph, retiring in 1989 after 36 years. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Predeceased by his wife Edna in 2007. Surviving are his children, Mary Goodson and husband Joseph, Sandra Witherspoon, Roslemarie Curry and husband Tim, Wilbur, Bennie Jr., Kevin; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph Twp. All services to be held at Slater Funeral Home, Milledgeville, GA (478-452-2412).
