Mrs. Linda Pera, 62, of Morris Plains passed away unexpectedly at home, Friday, February 12th, 2010. Resident of Parsippany since 1977, she grew up in Belleville.
Mrs. Pera was born in Newark.
She was Executive Secretary, Interpace Corp, Parsippany and Saint Clares Health System, Denville in the 1970's and 1980's. In recent months, she volunteered for both Feeding the Homeless and caring for sheltered animals. Most of all, her love of life was caring for her family as a devoted mother and wife.
Survived by her husband Roy of 42 years; son Jeffrey of Randolph, and daughter Julie Pera of Boston. Predeceased by her parents William and Ann Hoehe, brother Bill, and sister Carol Hoehe.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16th, 2010, 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph 07869 (www.tuttlefh.com).
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann R.C. Church, 781 Smith Road, Parsippany, 07054 (973-884-1986) at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 17th, 2010. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Orange.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested in her memory to St. Ann R.C. Church, 781 Smith Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054 (973-884-1986) or P.A.S.S. Parsippany Animal Supporters Society (www.pass4pets.org.).
