One of my fondest memories of my uncle was when he went to Havana to see my dad and he took me to the zoo and we spent the day eating peanuts, and drinking granizado (Cuban version of italian ice). He was so good with kids.

Although it is difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. The Jorge that I will always remember was a jovial, kind, man with many friends. Always a true gentleman, who loved his family, and friends, and as the consummate "kidder" he loved to tease us as kids growing up. I know that no words can ease the loss that you feel, just know that you are are in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come. Peace be with you......ALL.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I was blessed to have the honor of meeting Jorge Garcia and was able to get to know him. His smile was infectious, eyes filled with kindness and always a hug. We shared the love of chocolate, J & L and mostly his family. My hearts breaks for this loss but I know God has received an Angel who will be watching over us all. May he now rest in peace. God Bless you Jorge!
