Obituary of Jake Ryan Litus

Jake Ryan Litus passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 26. He was born in Denville, NJ, and lived in Yardley, PA. He attended Notre Dame High School, in Lawrenceville, NJ and graduated from Susquehanna University with a degree in Environmental Science. He worked as an Environmental Specialist at New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Jake was an avid traveler, an accomplished athlete, and passionate nature enthusiast. He loved hiking, snowboarding, camping and just about any outdoor activity. He was a lover of all things extraterrestrial and looked forward to meeting some of them. Jake loved animals, especially dogs. He had the biggest heart and was loved by all who knew him. His sparkling brown eyes and beautiful smile lit up a room. He was the life of the party wherever he went. His loyalty and love for his family and friends knew no bounds. He had worked for the National Parks Service and believed that every day should be Earth Day. He will be missed more than words could ever express.
Jake is survived by his loving parents Allison and Jodi Litus; his older sister, Lainey, his brothers, Justin, Josh and Jett; his maternal grandfather, Alfred Villoresi and paternal grandmother, Carol Kindt-Villoresi; his paternal grandfather, Lou Litus; his uncle Mark Villoresi and aunt Hilary; his aunt Beth Tomblin and uncle James; his aunt Jennifer Loiodice and uncle Donato; his uncle Matt Cooney and aunt Cindy; his aunt Kim Karasek and uncle Ron; 15 cousins; and countless extended family members and friends. Jake is predeceased by his grandmother Elodie Villoresi and aunts Amy Cooney and Deanna Cancel.

Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Assumption Parish, Morristown.
