Rocky & Lou always kept us in mind to go out and
relax.
They were Carl's baptismal Godparents and kept
them in their thoughts. Your Dad made sure he
attended Carl and Faith's birthday backyard birthday
party for 5 or 6 year. When your Mom passed away, Donna escorted.
All our love forward

Hello, John and Donna and Regina....
I appreciated your card so much. I know that Rocco is with God now--for sure.
Even when things are difficult, the Lord is with us. I am now 80...and I can look back to understand all that He has done for me (even when I was not so faithful).
Here are a couple of Prayer Pages I think you will be
"touched by."
I thank John for bringing his Dad to St. Therese's so
often. I am glad to know them!
Blessings,
John

I saw the obituary for Dad in the SunSentinel, Broward County Paper and had to write to Rocco's Family and extend my sincere condolences. I have mixed feelings of sadness and joy at hearing of his death. He left such an impression on me and I am so grateful to have been blessed to work with him. I met your Dad in 2007 when I started working as a Clinical Social Worker for Hospice of Palm Beach County. He was a volunteer in our Unit at Delray Medical Center. I was brand new to Hospice Care and I was utterly amazed to see Dad's compassion and dedication to our patients and families. Every morning he was at our Unit to help get things started - coffee in the family room and rounds to greet each patient and make sure he or she was comfortable. I admired his commitment and work ethic.
Most of all, I will not forget how he encouraged and supported me in my work. I had some tough days and questioned my ability to do hospice care. He was always there to listen and build my confidence. I believe God put him in my life to help me get through those first few years. I have such fond memories of this time. We kept in touch for a while when he moved to New Jersey to be closer to you all. I still have some of his holiday cards he sent me. He reminded me that no matter what losses I face, there is room for gratitude.
I feel truly blessed and honored to have known him and watched him give to others. He was such a role model. I have faith that he will now be reunited in Heaven with God and your mother. My thought and prayers are with you now and always.
Warmest Regards,
Annmarie Duggan

Uncle Roc was a special person in my life. We shared many conversations over the years, that helped me through life. He lived to entertain his family and friends. Many times when he and Aunt Lou lived in Light House Point, we would go up there, go to the beach and share an amazing dinner together.
He never missed a graduation or wedding if is health aloud it. When Megan graduated, we didn’t have enough ticket for Uncle Roc to come, but he was there. I would’ve loved to hear the story he gave the security guard to let him in and sit front row. That was Uncle Roc, he went above and beyond for his family.
Uncle Roc you will be missed, but you will always be in my thoughts of how you touched my life. Now your reunited with all your family and friends in heaven.
Love you,
Janie Ferraiuolo

I so remember our summers at Myrtle Beach when Grandpa would
Come. He was so special to my son Phillip and the rest of my family. Phillip loved his cooking. My fondest memory is of him making dinner for us. He made meatballs. They were awesome. The main ingredient was love. He was an awesome man!

Our Uncle Rocky was a beautiful man. He was always there for his family. He never hesitated to speak at family events wishing everyone love and happiness. Uncle Rocky was a natural cheerleader for all, as he would always express how proud he was of one's accomplishments. A couple examples of this was when I returned to college to earn a degree, or for Candi when she studied for her doctorate. Uncle Rocky would always take the time to write sincere and loving paragraphs in any cards he would send. Our fond memories was when we would visit him in Florida, for example, he was always dressed so nice, but it was always good to see Uncle Rocky dressed down for his many walks on the beach enjoying and relaxing. You will always be in our hearts and memories Uncle Rocky.
Love Tommy, Dede, and as he addressed her, "Doctor Candi"

What a memorable man! Uncle Rocky made each of us feel special and so loved. When he talked with you, you felt like you were all that mattered. Such a striking man, with his full head of beautiful white hair in his later years, he was greatly loved.

We first met Rocco in October 1980 on our first trip to Lauderdale by the Sea. Unbeknown to us that evening a long and firm friendship was formed. We were always made welcome by Rocco and the Gangemi family became our American family, Matthew who was then only weeks old came to know Rocco as his American Grandad, introducing him to Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches while Rob and I always had some fantastic Italian meal prepared by Rocco. We have many happy memories that will stay with us forever. He was a loving and selfless person, always putting others first. We love you and will miss you. Our loss is heavens gain. Be the brightest star alongside our much loved and missed Lucille.
Love always Ingrid and Rob Jaynes. United Kingdom.

I met Rocco on 9/5/95 at the Delray Beach Police Department working side by side with Rocco and we became friends ever since. He came to my dad's memorial, my surprise 40th birthday party with Lucille, my daughter's sweet sixteen with Lucille and her wedding. Last month, I visited Rocco and had the pleasure of meeting Regina, John and Donna. I felt like I already knew them through Rocco and felt like family. Regina was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off to the airport. I had a great time and it was wonderful seeing Rocco again and meeting his family. Rocco was a devoted husband, son and father who loved them dearly. He was a caring person who will forever have a special place in my heart and be greatly missed. ❤️
