George was more than a family friend. More like a big brother. Someone who I could look up to and know that he was always there if I needed him. One time they closed school early when Hurricane Diana came through the area. Knowing that my parents could not get home in time to get us, he came to the school and got my brother and me. He took us to his house and reassured us that we were safe from the storm there with them. I will never forget that. My prayers to his family at this time. We all have many memories of him. I’ll see you again some day George.

My family and I will always remember George as a quiet, gentle man, who was always ready to lend a hand. Honest and hardworking, a real family man and a good friend. He always fixed my truck or car when I was a kid - he was amazing with mechanics! I always looked up to him and always will. I'll miss you, George, but I know we'll meet again one day. Rest in peace my friend, Doug Gesell

I'll always remember George as a real friend and a dedicated employee for twenty years. He was gentle and kind no matter what the situation was.
