So many memories we have, and special moments we shared. From doing all school projects together from 1st grade all the way up to 7th grade, and time we spent hanging out going to parks, watching movies, going to many events, and hanging with close friends. I knew from the moment I met you we were going to be not only friends but a for ever sister. I hold you close and dear to my heart not only in this life but the next. Instead of mourning on your passing, I’ll forever remember the beautiful memories we have and the happiness we shared to bring me joy. I’m miss u Emily but I know I’ll see u soon. Querida Emilly,
você sempre muito forte!
Me lembro quando foi descoberta o porque das dores no pescoço, você tão nova (12 p/ 13 anos), e sem respostas...logo sua mãe foi atrás do pq, sempre muito cuidadosa com vc e seu irmão.
E descobriu, algo que nunca queremos passar.
Sua mãe e seu irmão eram e são seus heróis, mas uma pessoa em especial preparou e cuidou de como seria e sua mãe foi guiada e entendeu o porquê vc, pq o Victor porque sua mae...Jesus esta sempre com vcs, mas ele primeiro deixou vc um tempo passando e dando lição a cada um que te conheceu, cada um que vc viveu, e p/ entender que temos que viver e não reclamar, e não ficar brigando por coisas bobas, e sim sermos mais unidos.
Deus preparou quem poderia carregar este legado e ensinar o pq viemos p/ está terra e pq temos que partir na hora que Jesus quis, e preparou p/ viver nos braços dele. As vezes mts não entende, eu tbm não...pois nenhuma mãe deveria perder um filho, mas sua mãe passa e vai passar sempre mt forças pra mim, p/ outras mães do pq viemos ao mundo e vamos voltar p/ Jesus nosso pai...
Poderia estar escrevendo lembranças, que tive com vcs, Emilly, Victor, Lauda mas meu coração ❤️ está cheio de Jesus, e senti mtttt paz no seu velório como nunca tinha sentido em outro, fiquei muito triste e com receio de chegar perto do seu caixão, mas sua mãe com a força que tem me levou, até la, ela cuidou de todos e de lá,
Então amor da tia faça festa aí de cima, e continue mandando forças aqui p/ sua mãe, irmãos, padrasto, familiares, amigos...
Obrigada por ter ficado 20 anos conosco, ensinado a amar mais!
Você é a menina de Jesus, você veio deixou só coisas boas e vamos ficar com muitas saudades de vc...

Emilly, my girl. The way you fought till the end, you are the most inspiring. I witnessed you go through each season of the highs and the lows. How much you endured. You gave it your all and now you get to rest. I know that you are in heaven in a brand new body completely healed and feeling no pain. That is what brings us comfort during this time. You are with our heavenly Father.
Watching you grow throughout the years was a privilege. I am grateful to have had you by my side for the most important moments in my life. Back in September you told me you would make it to meet Mateo, and you did. He will grow up knowing how much he was loved by you. Every time we hear a paramore song or drink a five guys milkshake , we will think of you. It is hard to think how life can go on without you in it. You have left a void in our hearts. But I know that we will meet again one day. We love you forever and ever my girl.

Emmy we always had a great time together. No matter what it was we enjoyed our quality time. The most easiest going girl ever everything was fine. In 2011, I had the opportunity to meet this incredible family. I was new in town and knew few people. I met Emilly's mother, and she kindly invited me to spend my first Christmas at her house. I felt welcomed by this family. On that day, I got to know a calm, sweet, intelligent, and adorable little girl. Emilly had fun with my daughter whenever we had the chance to see each other, and since then, even though I have moved to another state, I have never lost my affection for her and the whole family. For years, I watched from afar, saw her victories and all the battles she fought bravely until now. She didn't lose any battle. Emilly won every minute of her life when she decided to move forward and live with more intensity the miracle of each sunrise. She excelled in every aspect and today leaves a legacy of victories and much inspiration. She will be remembered by all of us forever!

I thank God and your mom for trusting me to take care of you and Victor. I remember you giving me such a hard time to eat and do your homework lol I can truly say I am very lucky.
Not so long ago we spent a whole day together eating Betel, talked allll day about simply everything and I’m so greatful for these moments that I will remember for ever. My heart is broken but I know your in heaven with God and in peace, no pain.

Emilly was a sister to me in so many ways. We shared so many beautiful moments together and our young teenage years we’d spend multiple weekends together just up late nights, talking, and eating all of the crazy food cravings we’d have. Once we were in a supermarket and an older woman was staring at Emilly and she just whipped her phone out and turned her flash on, it was so funny and it shocked the woman so much she finally stopped. I remember us laughing about this for hours. I’ll love her always and she is with me every single day.
