Upon moving to Chrystal Street in Dover at six months old, Aldo attended Academy Street School and later attended Dover High School where he graduated with the class of ‘55. He later became Mayor of Dover and dedicated 28 years to fulfilling these two community roles. In addition, Aldo spent 18 years acting as the Dover Water Commissioner.
His additional free time was spent with his family fishing, riding motorcycles, dining out during summers at the shore, playing card games with the boys at East Dover Social Club, playing guitar, crafting folk art, and playfully teasing with his always-ready puns and play on words. His greatest gift was his love of people and his way of putting people at ease, and making them laugh.
